(NOTE: Original review updated below after manager response.) Had a Manhattan for $14.50 (tab said $11.50 for knob creek and $3.00 for manhattan) and $7.75 for a pint of Mother Earth Kolsch, which is about $2.00 more than I've ever paid for that beer in the Triangle. Food was very good, wait staff are great, and the ambiance is excellent -- but the prices are Manhattan-like. UPDATED: After manager responded, it appears to be an honest mistake and he offered to correct it. Yes, the beer seemed pricey but the quality of the food, service, and manager's attention to detail and customer satisfaction make it a good value.

Peak City is a bastion of class and sophistication with an unmistakable warmth of small town charm that is sure to make any night a night to remember. Your meal always starts with first class service thanks to a dedicated and professional wait staff, and ends with a meal prepared by a nationally recognized Chef and his A-list kitchen (Seriously, take a look around the Triangle, and you'll quickly find that many of the best Chefs in NC have received their start at Peak City Grill, it's unprecedented). Color this first rate gourmet experience in with an atmosphere of art, big band and swing music, and you're sure to be over the moon. Ask for Chip, Elsie, or Jared, and prepare to be absolutely amazed. Even with a slightly higher price point you're getting an absolute steal, because Chef Franz and his Souse Chef Nik Adams are unbelievably creative, and masters of their craft, and with their recent recognition could easily charge more for the quality they produce. My wife and I love Peak City, and it's always our first choice for entertaining friends, and celebrating special occasions.

Great ambiance with lots to look at and fun/lively atmosphere. Feels upscale and warm with interesting lighting and sculptures at the bar. Our service was excellent and our food was as well. Good drink selection for wine, beer & cocktails. Right at the end of a one-street revitalized downtown area. Parking can be tricky, but getting a slot down the street is actually good. That way you can enjoy checking out the shops on the way to and from your car.

We're "New in Town", and crawled out from under our boxes and bubble wrap to try Peak City Grill for the first time.
It will not be our last!
The food was superb in every sense. We feasted on bacon wrapped scallops (a generous portion), an iceberg wedge with bacon crumbles, blue cheese, and the delightfully unexpected tang of pickled onions, and a rib-eye steak that was every penny worth its price! We ordered a side of green peppercorn sauce with brandy, and it was the perfect compliment to the tender rib-eye. We are ate the bar, and service was amicable, prompt and professional.
The decor and over-all ambiance is beyond first class.
    We'll be back.
    And soon!

Attended an evening event here. Parking in downtown was not an issue. For a midweek evening moderately busy, moderate noise level, our event was upstairs. Not sure if they have an elevator. Pleasant interior, old building being reused, Yes! Food was good, service not bad. Pleasant atmosphere.
